The TNF Industrial and Energy Forum is the main forum in Russia, bringing together professionals from energy companies. Customers and manufacturers meet annually at the forum to find and implement joint solutions.
Based on research insights and the first iteration of the website structure, we created a userflow to meet the main project goals: intuitive navigation, engaging content and design, simple search. The proposed website layout was optimized in size and design based on our analysis and the client’s requirements for the project.
A mix of desk research, group interviews and team meetings helped us understand the competitive landscape, create customer personas and user flows in a short time period. Our team also designed and facilitated a hands-on strategy workshop for the Forum's core team of 30 people to identify key priorities for this year's event and align their vision for its future development.
We combined sections that are complementary and/or follow the same logical chain. Using the most important and credible information for the user, we managed to decrease the number of pages on the site by 18%. In addition, our team developed a set of components, rules, regulations and tools for improving the quality and speed of further product development as well as effectively supporting the existing site.
The development of the project was carried out by specialists from the customer. Our team prepared documentation and layouts for transferring the project to development, we also accompanied the project during its development. After development, we tested all the pages on different devices, checked the correct display of information, made sure that the product was working properly and there were no bugs.
Thanks to cooperation with Designerly, TNF has changed and acquired a new look. After research work, they provided a new website structure, improved user experience for visitors, and developed several design options. The tone of voice was also changed, making the event more open, conducive to communication and attractive. They combined all the visual developments of the brand over the years into a single design system. I am grateful to the entire team for the quality work done. They really did a lot to achieve the best result.
